Buenavista del Norte (Spanish "good view" and "norte", the north (of the island)) is a municipality in the western part of the island of Tenerife, one of the Canary Islands, and part of the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Buenavista del Norte is the westernmost municipality in the island of Tenerife and is also the westernmost point. It is located about 60 km SW of the island's capital, NW of Los Cristianos and Las Américas of Arona and about 50 km NW of Reina Sofia Airport.

The population is 5,453 (ISTAC, 2003), its density is 80.88/km² and the area is 67.42 km². The elevation is 925 m. Santaiago del Teide is linked north of the TF1 superhighway and northwest of the TF38 and west of the TF2 superhighway. Farmlands occupy the valley areas and on the Atlantic coast, and the south and southeast of the area are in the hilly Teno national park.

Its economy are business, tourism and agriculture. Until the 1990s, agriculture was the dominant industry in Buenavista del Norte and occupied the majority of the population.
